效验方法：

检验仪器是否正确，可在泥浆杯中注满蒸馏水，用同样力法测量所测得的比重如为1，则表明比重计时准确的，如果测得结果不为1，则可将比重计的平衡圆盖拧开，增减圆柱内的金属颗粒，使所测量的比重计为1即可。

本泥浆比重计所占体积为：500*100*100毫米

使用方法；

本泥浆比重计使用时，须将泥浆注入泥浆杯内，齐平杯口为止，不要留有气泡，将杯盖轻轻盖上，多余泥浆和空气即从杯盖中间小孔中排出，在将溢出的泥浆擦拭干净，然后把杠杆的主刀口放在底座的主刀垫上去，将砝码缓缓移动，当水泡位于中央时，杠杆呈水平状态，砝码左侧表示刻度，即为泥浆比重。如需测得泥浆比重2-3克立方。范围时需将平衡圆柱盖旋开，然后将平衡重锤放入，旋上螺纹盖即可测试。【测量方法及步骤同上】
