一般描述
GranuCult®plus Oxytetracyclin-Glucose-Yeast Extract Agar Base is used to isolate ａnd enumerate yeasts ａnd molds in foods. The base medium allows good growth of yeasts ａnd molds. Oxytetracycline inhibits the growth of bacteria. The addition of an OGYE selective supplement (1.09877) to the base medium increases the recovery/count of yeast ａnd molds. Yeast extract provides essential growth nutrients. Dextrose acts as a carbon ａnd energy source. Low pH helps to reduce the bacterial flora.
